An early Victorian gold musical fob. The oval base, on a crescent surmount embossed with a reclining nude and floral motif and central red gem quatrefoil. AF. Length 3.3cms. Total weight 19.9gms.

  • Overall condition fair to poor. Surface scratches and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • One of the red gems is deficient. POssible replacement gems.
  • All but a trace of the enamel is deficient.
  • There is a tear to the crescent near one of the reclining nude females.
  • French restrike marks to the detachable base.
  • Musical mechanism is contained within the base.
  • Mechanism requires attention.
