An Indian Miniature Painting, Northern Indian School, Depicting Shri Ramdev - An Indian miniature painting, Northern Indian School on paper, depicting the central figure of Shri Ramdev in a meditative pose, adorned with multiple necklaces, seated on a white mat. He is flanked by two smaller male attendant figures, also seated. The scene is set in a green landscape with golden floral motifs, layered green ground lines, and a blue sky band. An elaborate red border with gold foliate designs and dark blue floral motifs frames the image. In the upper blue band, text in Devanagari script reads "श्री रामदेव ॥३॥", identifying the central figure.
With frame: Approximately 39.5 x 36cm
Apparent condition is good, with vibrant colors and intact gold embellishments. Minor age-related discoloration is visible on the surrounding pale pink mount.
