A pair of Japanese bronze slender ovoid vases, inlaid with cockerels on blossoming branches in tones of silver and copper, mirrored to left and right, 24cm high, signed, Meiji period
Certainly. The vases are in overall good condition. Somebody has been overzealous in polishing them, so there is a loss to some of the finer points of detailing and patina. There are surface scratches as expected. One vase back has a slight stable dent of c. 1cm in length. Overall, a handsome pair of vases, and still displaying well.
