A mid 19th century gold and silver portrait miniature pendant. Of cut-corner rectangular outline, the woman painted to depict Diana with leopard skin, quiver and crescent moon, within an 18ct tri-colour foliate gold and silver frame. Length 7.2cms. Total weight 48.1gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Hinged surmount loop with French mark. (Hinged surmount loop not counted in length).
  • Glue and/or small discolouration visible to top and bottom of portrait.
  • Small losses to the top edge of the portrait.
  • Glass has small chips to the upper edge.
