A SWISS GOLD SNUFF BOX WITH MUSICAL MOVEMENT. Rectangular with rounded corners and engine turned decoration with a meandering engraved and blue enamel border. The front with a slide to operate the movement fitted below the flat interior 5.5 x 3.5 x 1.25 cm
c. 1810-1818. Overall weight including movement 79 grms.
With key and original silk lined red leather box.
With repairer's note of B.A. Bremond, Geneva 1896.
Gold box good. Musical movement unexamined but not working at present. Outer travelling box with some wear.
