A Persian Isfahan Mosaic Tile Depicting a Hunter on a Leopard, 20th Century.
The design features a heroic hunter drawing a bow on the back of a majestic spotted leopard, poised mid-stride within a circular floral frame. The tile is constructed from individually cut and inlaid coloured faience tesserae set into a plaster base, in rich shades of turquoise, cobalt, white, mustard yellow, and black.
