EDWARDIAN INLAID ROSEWOOD STATIONERY BOX, with sloping front, opening to the centre to reveal an interior fitted with fret cut dividers and a removable writing slate to one door, lacking to the other door, the front outlined in boxwood and inlaid with foliate scrolls, 12” (30.5cm) high, 13 ¾” x 8 ¾” (35cm x 22.2cm)
C/R-Polish to the front looks dull
Minor fading, mostly to the back
Slight gap to the doors, can be opened when locked
The interior
top vertical divider has dropped, just need re-gluing
one writing slate lacking to the back of one door
minor losses to the inlay to the lower left corner of the slope and to the right of the inlay to the front,
