Late 19th Century Brass Skeleton Clock
An elegant late 19th-century brass skeleton clock with an eight-day twin fusee movement. The silvered circular chapter ring is engraved with black Roman hour numerals, set within an open scrollwork frame, and surmounted by a bell.
The clock is mounted on an oak plinth and retains its period glass dome, together with the key and pendulum.
Total height approximately 45 cm, including the dome.
Condition -The movement is untested for time keeping but movement the pendulum moves freely, and the striking mechanism appears to be deactivated. Please study images
