A pair of George III steel ember tongs. With an extending concertina action, total length 50cm, together with a pair of brass and steel nutcrackers, with wriggle work decoration, and a 17th century turned lignum vitae quill and ink holder (3). The ember tongs have a little surface rust, but work fine. The inkwell is good, with a small chip and tiny losses.
