A 1960s 18ct gold diamond and ruby brooch. Designed as a brilliant-cut diamond and circular-shape ruby accent flower, to the lightly textured leaves and polished stem. Maker's mark SS. Estimated diamond weight 0.10ct. Hallmarks for London, 1967. Length 6.3cms. Weight 15.9gms.

  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, general slight discolouration and very minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Pin with slight dents.
  • Diamond bright.
  • Setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Rubies are a well matched, deep slightly purplish red hue. Few minor nicks and minor abrasion.
