A Collection of Amercom Great British Locomotives Die-cast Model Locomotives
A collection of four die-cast static model locomotives from the Great British Locomotives magazine part-work series by Amercom. Each locomotive is presented as a non-motorised display model mounted on a black plastic plinth featuring a section of track and a descriptive label. The collection includes a Southern Railway Schools Class V 4-4-0 steam locomotive No. 928 Stowe in malachite green livery; a Southern Railway Battle of Britain Class 4-6-2 No. 21C151 Winston Churchill in malachite green with yellow lining and commemorative crest; a British Rail Class 55 Deltic diesel locomotive D9002 The King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry in two-tone green; and a British Railways Class 5MT 4-6-0 No. 44781 in black livery with red lining. All models are constructed from die-cast metal with plastic detailing. Each unit is housed in its original clear plastic blister packaging which includes a retail barcode and historical inscription.
