President Dwight D. Eisenhower Commemorative Pendant United States Capitol Souvenir, c.1953–1961 Vintage American souvenir pendant featuring a portrait of President Dwight D. Eisenhower (1890–1969), Supreme Allied Commander during the Second World War and 34th President of the United States. The reverse depicts the iconic United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. Produced during or shortly after Eisenhower’s presidency, this piece reflects the patriotic and political memorabilia popular in mid-20th-century America.
