WINDSOR CASTLE CORRESPONDENCE - letter from the Royal Household of Queen Victoria to General Sir Simon Lockhart, Bt. M.V.O. presenting a photograph of Her Majesty on the occasion of her Diamond Jubilee sitting in her Jubilee Nottingham Lace dress. Also included is a modern copy of the same image from the Lace Museum in Nottingham. Additionally the lot includes a number of postal stationery items marking the jubilee of the penny post including one addressed to 'The Queen, Balmoral', along with contemporary humorous copies of similar items and centenary marks of 1990.
