An early 20th century platinum, opal doublet and diamond cluster ring. The oval opal doublet, with circular-cut diamond scalloped surround. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Ring size J. Weight 3.2gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Scratches and small dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Small damages to the gallery.
  • Diamonds bright and well matched.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Small, scattered, mostly dark inclusions.
  • Opal doublet with good play of colour, predominently reddish orange, green and blue hues. Moderate surface abrasion.
  • Stamped 8067.
