A late 19c French four glass clock, the gilt base having a cushioned top surmounted by an urn and having pineapple finials to the top corners. The case corners have spiral twist columns and the stepped base has panels of swags and ribbed bun feet. The pendulum bob is in the form of a basket of flowers. The movement is rack striking on a gong and has an 8.5cm diam. white enamel dial with Arabic numerals joined by swags and the clock stands 40cm tall overall.
The movement seems complete and ticks but is reluctant to strike without help and needs cleaning. The dial and all the glasses are undamaged. The case is complete but very tarnished and requires cleaning.
