A red painted beech Prince of Wales investiture chair
designed by Lord Snowdon for 'Remploy', made with beech and plywood, the seat backing with central gold Prince of Wales feathers and motto, with red tweed upholstered seat pad, supported on four straight legs, 77 cm high, 54 cm wide.
Some paint loss / scrapes to the ends of the arms and elsewhere on corners and edges. Fading to the paint on the back of the seat. Some staining to the cushioned seat. Structurally sound, with general wear commensurate with age.
