A 1967 Triumph Vitesse 2 litre saloon, registration number 328 DPC, chassis number HC7826DL, engine number HC8069E, Wedgwood blue with white stripe. Introduced by Standard Triumph in 1962 the Giovanni Michelotti designed Vitesse Six was a performance version of the Herald available in both saloon and convertible forms. Initially available with the 1600 straight six the Vitesse would gravitate to a larger two litre engine from 1966 and remained in production until 1971. This two litre non overdrive saloon has been restored by a previous owner to a good standard. The body which is well presented in Wedgwood blue with a contrasting white stripe sits on Minilite style wheels. The interior has been refurbished with re-veneered dashboard and door cappings and new carpets. The Vitesse started readily on our inspection to take the catalogue photographs with the engine sounding very sporting and holding oil pressure. This well presented Vitesse will be offered for auction with sundry paperwork. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustrations
