A 1970s 18ct gold onyx and diamond pendant. Of foliate design, the brilliant-cut diamond and carved onyx petal surround, with brilliant-cut diamond openwork foliate border. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Import marks for London, 1979. Length 4.5cms. Weight 12.6gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Part of openwork surround bent out of shape.

  • Possible replacement surmount.

  • Diamonds fairly well matched.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Diamonds drawing a noticable yellow colour.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
