A Liverpool porcelain tea bowl and saucer, probably John Pennington, painted in blue with Mares Tail or Horse Tail pattern of flowering leafy sprays and over painted in iron red, saucer 12.5cm diam; and one other saucer painted with floral sprays, pattern number 701 (3) ** Horsetail (Equisetum arvense), a plant often called mare's tail.
