2023 FHO Racing BMW M1000RR
BMW’s first TT success came courtesy of Georg Meier when he won the Senior in 1939. It would be another seventy-five years before the German manufacturer won the blue riband event again, Michael Dunlop on the S1000RR taking the chequered flag in 2014.
Even greater success was to follow as Peter Hickman, on the Superstock BMW M1000RR, set an outright lap record of 136.358mph on his way to victory in the second Superstock race at the 2023 TT.
