£140
Coalport tea set, nine cups, nine saucers, nine side plates, two sandwich plates, cake plate, sugar basin and jug, some items marked Maple London, the retailer Maple and Company with Coalport mark underneath, circa 1900.
The milk jug has some loss to the gilding on the handle but is otherwise in good condition. One of the large plates has a loss of gilding to one edge. The cake plate has been broken where the bowl meets the stem and has been glued back into position. There is no sign of this from the top but there is a slight hairline crack running around the stem below the break. One saucer has rubbing to the gilding. Other than this the other items are in good condition with no signs of chips, crazing, cracks or restoration.
