An 18th century Swiss gilt-metal paste and enamel open-face key-wind verge pocket watch, by Jean Robert Soret, Geneva, white enamel dial with hand painted black Arabic numerals, gilt foliate hands, with enamel caseback depicting 2 figures, and movement with hexagonal pillars, case width 50mm, not currently working

Movement – only working for a few seconds before stopping and needs attention
Dial - several hairline cracks, largest from 9 to centre column
Glass - light surface abrasions
Hands - good
Case - several small chips to edge of enamel caseback and heavy surface wear, all stones present, most are discoloured, gilding on bezel worn on high points
