A rare early 20th century German tin plate magic lantern bearing D.R.G.M registration mark, the lantern is of rectangular form, raised and evocative brass effect, fitted with its original oil lamp burner and glass chimney, the front lens housing an articulated metal flue to the top. The lantern is accompanied buy its original cardboard box with printed pictorial label, together with 6 rectangular glass slides and 3 rare circular slides depicting hand coloured narrative and figure scenes, the lantern will fit both types of slides. It is in good antique condition for its age and the burner and glass chimney also appears in good order. A rare set complete with its original box.
