Two works. Joseph Hammond. 'A Cornish Parish Being an Account of St Austell Town, Church, District and People,' first edition, a nice copy in original green cloth, gilt lettering to spine and front cover, loosely inserted are two autograph letters from the author to 'Jonathan Rashleigh' an original subscriber to the volume, plus various local bills of the time and a photo of Cannon Hammond next to the title page, Skeffington and Son, London, 1897. A photograph album of St Austell, 16 Black and White Photographs: Fowey, Mevagissey, Pentewan, Charlestown, Gorran and St Austell, Fore St etc, circa 1880.
