A mid 20th century emerald and diamond double clip brooch. Of openwork design, comprising two circular-cut diamond geometric panels, with rectangular-shape emerald and baguette-cut diamond highlights. Estimated total diamond weight 6.50 to 7cts. French assay marks. Length 5.9cms. Weight 31.6gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • White metal plating slightly worn in parts.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds generally appear to be fairly clean, with some small scattered inclusions visible under 10x magnification, some diamonds with larger inclusions visible to the naked eye.
  • Emeralds are a well matched medium very slightly blueish green hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Emeralds in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Width 3cms.
