An early 20th century 18ct gold and platinum, opal and diamond ring. The graduated oval opal cabochon three-stone line, with old-cut diamond duo spacers and scrolling gallery. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Ring size Q. Weight 3.9gms.

  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band shows evidence of resizing.
  • Appears to have been recently polished.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with some small light and dark inclusions under 10x magnification.
  • Opals are well matched, with a fairly strong play of colour, displaying a range of hues.

  • Opals in good to fair condition with some light abrasions.

  • Stamped 18ct Plat, partially indistinct.
