A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH PETITE SONNERIE CARRIAGE CLOCK. the gorge case with repeater button and bevelled glass panels, blued steel hands and alarm subsidiary, platform lever escapement to an eight day movement, striking the hours and quarters to a twin gong, backplate stamped no. 7025, the base with strike selector lever - hours & quarters/ quarters only/ silent, 18cm high inc handle, 10cm wide, with winder and original Moroco leather carry case, 16cm high.
Light tarnish to case, no chips, currently running, winding and striking but does not strike the hours accurately. replaced balance wheel/escapement, wear to carry case including strap broken.
