A 1983 Land Rover 110 V8 County Station Wagon, registration number A403 JSH, chassis number SALLDHMV1AA/197459, engine number 15G00600, Roan brown/cream. The 110 V8 County Station Wagon is the pinnacle of the Defender range which became available in 1983. The 90 and 110 were modified mechanically from the previous Series III, with coil springs and a permanent four wheel drive system derived from the Range Rover, featuring a two speed transfer box with locking central differential. This particular 110 V8 County has covered a low 62,000 miles from new. In the current ownership approximately £20,000 has been spent on refurbishment and maintenance, including a full respray in the original colour scheme, body and chassis repairs, new wheels and tyres, rebuilt carburettors and numerous other consumables. The original twelve seat interior has been retained and is in good condition. There is an accompanying file with receipts, past MOTs and a Heritage Certificate confirming the build date of 13th July 1983, making it one of the first 110s to roll of the production line. V5C, MOT to April 2020 See illustrations
