Condition: Very Good No Dust Jacket Navy blue cloth-covered boards with gilt titles and borders to spine and blind borders to front and rear boards. Edges of boards slightly rubbed. Head and tail of spine slightly rubbed. Contemporaneous owner's name in fountain pen to top of front free endpaper: Pages clean with no foxing. Endpapers aged. School name rubber stamp. ***In a very good plain buff-coloured black printed dustwrapper that has not been price-clipped, showing original publisher's price of 7/6 net. Edges of dustwrapper very slightly rubbed and creased. 1cm closed tear to bottom edge of rear panel of dustwrapper. Head and tail of spine slightly creased and rubbed. Very small closed tear and creasing to tail of spine of dustwrapper. Tiny loss and creasing to head of spine of duswpraer.Spine of dustwrapper slightly discoloured. A couple of tiny surface marks to rear panel of dustwrapper. 224mm x 146mm. xiii prelim-pages including contents and two-page preface dated October 1923 by the author to the for plus 209 text-pages including index and two-page publisher's advertisement for John Maynard Keynes. Also include separately, a newspaper cutting from the News Chronicle dated April 22 1946 with an obituary of the author.
