A VICTORIAN SILVER PLATE MOUNTED CUT GLASS CLARET JUG, c.1890, the highly decorative silver-plated collar with blank cartouche surrounded by chased and engraved foliate patterns, with mask to front of spout, beaded rim, and hippocampus finial to domed cover. The angular handle with acanthus leaf design in relief as well as engraved details. The flared cylindrical body with intricately cut glass featuring multiple cuts, and star cut base.
