A collection of eight die-cast and plastic scale model fire engines, primarily from the Del Prado Fire Engine Collection. The lot includes a variety of international fire-fighting apparatus spanning different eras. Identified models include a 1912 Christie Front Drive Steamer and a 1950 American LaFrance 700. Other models comprise modern ladder trucks, pumpers, a rescue van, and an airport crash tender. Each vehicle is mounted on a black wood-grain effect plastic display plinth with a gold-tone identification label. The underside of the Christie model features the printed mark: © delPrado collection, 1/43 1912 Christie Front Drive Steamer, Made in China. Several models appear to be seated on mismatched labeled plinths.
