A late George III small mahogany home apothecary box, opening to reveal ten glass jars and stoppers and with a lower drawer fitted with scales, weights and a glass measure, height 15cm, width 20.5cm, depth 9cm. Michael had an unerring eye for quality. He was a frequent visitor to these auction rooms, an elegantly dressed, unassuming man who bought well and had a singular passion for old-school antiques.
