A 19th century tortoiseshell rectangular music box, 6cm barrel playing on a one-piece comb, the hinged cover inlaid with an oval mother of pearl cartouche, 9.5cm wide overall, c.1890
The movement places when agitated manually but does not want to go of its own accord, not overwound but spring feels weak, all teeth present and cylinder looks ok
