Andy Council is an illustrator and street artist who creates creatures made up of
highly detailed architectural landmarks. His work takes the form of illustration,
painting and large-scale murals, which have been painted across the UK and
beyond. Andy has pieces in Bristol Museum & Art Gallery’s permanent collection and
two large-scale works in Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London. For auction is
Plesiosaur, a cheerful prehistoric marine reptile, splashing its flippers featuring many
landmarks of Bristol’s Floating Harbour, including the SS Great Britain, M Shed and
the Thekla.
