Purchased by the previous owner from a dealer in 2011, the car was then subject to a programme of improvements to bring it to show condition and bills for the ongoing project total over £16,000. Since then it has been used as a weekend toy, though the owner’s work commitments have prevented it being driven as much as had been originally anticipated, hence the reluctant sale. As can be seen the car is strong in all departments from the presentation of its Fjord Blue coachwork to the Navy interior (much of which was renewed in close to original materials). The chrome work is equally impressive as is the boot area and engine compartment. With project cars now seen to command up to £10,000, the reserve on this example seems more than realistic given the time and money investment already lavished upon it.
