A 19th century mahogany-veneered twin pedestal desk. The figured rectangular top over central frieze drawer and kneehole between two banks each of three drawers, all with Dutch-style punch-decorated backplate bale handles, on bracket feet, 45 x 23.5 x 28.75 high, (114cm x 59.5cm x 73cm).
Top has general cracking, scratching, staining, some wrinkling and blistering to veneer plus minor losses. Could easily be restored but currently has numerous minor flaws. Front is in similar state. Splits to side panels.
