A LATE 19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN SILVER AND NIELLO SNUFF BOX. The lid engraved with a city view, the sides with scrolling foliate decoration. Marks for Moscow and (BH AK 84) to the inside and lid of the box. 8.5cm x 4cm, 2.7ozt.
With age and handling wear, some marks and rubbing to the decoration in places.
