This has been drawn/painted on heavyweight cotton(?) paper with a deckle edge to the right hand side. It is in very good overall condition with no discolouration, spotting or sign of any other obvious damage/loss/restoration. This is a mixed media (pen and watercolour) drawing, the reason for the numbering has been told to us by one of Peter Firmin's daughters -'these were done as originals but a limited number to give out as gifts or donate to charity. He also had a technique whereby he drew the original outline and then copied it onto quality paper and hand coloured them individually before signing'.
