An extraordinary old ‘collection of collections’ of the postage stamps of Rhodesia, 1892-QEII, principal items noted include Admiral and Double Heads to £1, including specialised studies of shades and Rhodesian post marks, earlier issues including overprints and surcharges, stamp booklets, bulging folder of QEII UM sheets, postal history and postal stationery from QV onwards, including a series of postcards addressed to Kingsley Ogilvie Fairbridge (1885-1924) of Utopia [House], Umtali [Mutare] and others of the family, first flights and FDCs, several still substantial accumulations of other African territories, including Northern and Southern Rhodesia, Orange Free State and Natal ranges, including many overprints and surcharges, KUT, Zambia, Nyasaland and Mozambique, also miscellaneous GB and world, in eleven albums and stockbooks and on numerous leaves, in folders and loose, condition from UM and Fine Used to very poor on account of the African climate and insect damage, extremely untidily arranged but containing better/scarce items  several with old BPA certificates, and a collection which should repay close inspection
