AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY SILVER ROSE BOWL, MILITARY INTEREST. Of circular form with embossed lobes and small fruit scrolls, raised on a round foot. Complete with cartouche featuring commemorative inscription "Presented to Col.R.W.Mirehouse by the Tenants and Parishioners on his estate, on his return from the South Africa campaign, 1901". Hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd, London, 1901. Bowl weight 28.9ozt, Height 17.5cm x Diameter 26cm.
