An early George II Irish silver Rat-tail pattern Table Spoon, by John Hamilton, hallmarked Dublin, circa 1740, the reverse of bowl crested and initialled, 8in (20cm) long, 57.9g, bowl shape distorted and date letter indistinct, makers mark very clear.
