An early 20th century 9ct gold amethyst and split pearl necklace. The graduated oval-shape amethyst fringe, suspended from split pearl accent knife-edge bars, to the trace-link chain. Length 40cms. Weight 8.4gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Would recommend attention to some of the settings as some claws worn.
  • Amethyst are a well matched, medium purple, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Amethyst are in good condition with minor abrasions, few with minor surface nicks.

  • The split pearls are a well matched greyish colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
  • Length of amethyst and split pearl drops range 1.4 to 2.6cms.
  • Stamped 9C.
