An Edwardian 9ct gold medallion. Of shield-shape outline, with scrolling ribbon and embossed foliate detail, suspended from a later eagle surmount and personal inscription to reverse. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1902. Length 5.5cms. Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Eagle surmount is a later addition. Solder can be seen around the base of the eagle.
