Three early 20th century gold gem-set brooches. The first designed as a cultured pearl leaf with blue and red paste highlights, the second designed as an alternating ruby and diamond panel with scallop sides, the third designed as a circular-shape paste with foliate sides. One with hallmarks for 9ct gold for 1907. Lengths 4 to 4.5cms. Total weight 8gms.

  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Cultured pearls are a creamy-white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
  • Minor nacre damage to some.
  • Fairly good lustre.
  • Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamond has a significant fracture to table.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
