Collection of Royal Doulton fictional-themed character jugs, all hand-made & hand-decorated, comprising Romeo (D6670) and Hamlet (D6672) both modelled by William K. Harper COPR 1982 from their namesake plays in The Shakespearean Collection; capturing an expressive likeness of these tragic heroes with symbolic handles: Hamlet version incorporates skull & sword, Romeo features a sword entwined with balcony; together with antagonist Long John Silver (D6335) COPR 1951 from Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson; wearing a pirate cap with skull & cross bones; featuring handle formed in the shape of 'Captain Flint' his parrot, to his shoulder; approx. H range 18-19cm, all crown marked to the underside, etc. Qty. 3
