A mid 20th century turquoise and ruby spray brooch. Designed as a series of free form turquoise, within a stylised coiled ribbon and circular-shape ruby surround. Length 6cms. Weight 18.9gms.

  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Tarnishing and discolouration visible to the reverse of the brooch.
  • Significant veining visible to the majority of the turquoise, fairly well matched.
  • Rubies medium dark pinkish red, with a good to moderate saturation of colour and fair condition with some inclusions visible with magnification.
  • Stones in good condition with some visible abrasion with magnification.
  • Stamped 14K.
