An 18th Century mahogany longcase clock with eight day striking movement, the 12 inch broken arch brass dial with silvered chapter ring incorporating Strike/Silent dial, seconds subsidiary dial and date aperture below an engraved arc signed James Vigne, London, enclosed by a glazed hood with fret panel pediment and mounted with two brass ball finials over a long trunk door on canted plinth base, height 235cm.

Generally in a good condition, but one of the glazed side panels to the hood is loose and has been loosely taped into position. The trunk door is slightly bowed. There is a key to the trunk door, a winder, a pair of brass sleeved barrel weights and a pendulum.
The seat board has been packed slightly to the right hand side. The right hand side brass finial is very loose.
