A late Victorian silver and gold diamond horseshoe brooch. Designed as two graduated old-cut diamond crescent lines. May be worn as a pendant. Estimated total diamond weight 4 to 4.50cts, principal diamonds estimated H-I colour, VS2-SI2 clarity. Length 3cms. Weight 8gms.

  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Evidence of previous repair to fittings, localised discolouration.

  • Diamonds well matched and bright.
  • One small diamond chipped.
  • Individual size and setting of smaller diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Electronically tests as silver (front) and 9ct gold (back).
