An uncommon Caughley 'Rock Strata Island' tea bowl and saucer, circa 1776-90, painted in underglaze blue with the island, three trees and a house, painted S mark, saucer 12cm diameter (2) (slight hairline to tea bowl) Provenance: David Waterhouse Collection. DMW no. 99. Condition:Descending hairline to the tea bowl with a sliver of associated loss of glaze. Otherwise good.
