A Chinese Longquan Kiln Celadon Porcelain Dragon and Phoenix Jar, Possibly Yuan Dynasty - A lidded ceramic jar featuring a translucent celadon green glaze. The globular body is richly decorated in relief with a prominent five-clawed dragon amidst swirling clouds on one side and a phoenix among clouds on the other. The shoulder features a band of raised bosses and two applied scroll-form handles. The domed lid, also celadon glazed, is adorned with relief cloud motifs and topped by a scroll-like finial.
